Names and Games (The Citizen of Laconia)

The Belmont Middle School girls' soccer A team improved to 4-0 with two solid wins recently. Belmont traved to Laconia and came out with a 7-0 win. Five different players scored including three by Kayli Ennis and single markers by Kenzi Phelps, Nikki Lyn Mercier, Maddi Boles, and Jaymee Guinard.

Recreational news (The Citizen of Laconia)

Belmont High School invites Belmont HS alumni and residents (of any age) of the Belmont and Canterbury communities to participate in the inaugural Belmont HS Homecoming Cross Country Open to be held on Thursday, Sept. 25. Both a 5 km and 3 km cross country race, run over the high school's cross country course, will start at 5 p.m. adjacent to the high school track.

Names and Games (The Citizen of Laconia)

The Lakers United U14 girls hosted Exeter SC. Abby Drowin waisted no time scoring the Lakers first goal, assisted by Elaine Anderson and Kali Gadomski.

Sports briefs (Concord Monitor)

Soccer neighbors: Merrimack Valley and Bow High hook up in a pair of soccer games, with the boys playing in Penacook and the girls in Bow. Game times for both are 4:15 p.m.
